Risograph Printing
First time using a risograph printer?
Preparing your artwork
When creating your artwork for risograph printing, you have several options.
Create the artwork with all the different colours as separate layers.
Have a full-colour image and separate the colours into different channels so that they can be printed through the risograph printer.
When you have each layer of colour you want to print. Make sure that each channel is pitch black if you want a bold colour. Or if you are looking for a weaker colour then change the colour to greyscale accordingly.
Here is an example of an illustration that would be a two colour risograph print.
The images below show the separate colours as separate files that are ready for risograph printing.
The image to the left would be the blue Layer.
The next image to the left would be the yellow layer.
